Bringing Public & Private Sector Experience to Work for You

Brent Schwan’s experience reflects a lifetime of stepping up when his community needed him.

He spent nineteen years as a District Game Warden with the North Dakota Game & Fish Department, serving in both Fargo and Watford City. In that role, Brent worked closely with landowners, farmers, hunters, and local officials, gaining firsthand experience in problem-solving, public safety, and fair enforcement.

Brent later served as the Health, Safety, and Environmental Director for Concord Energy Transportation and Rocky Mountain Crude Oil, where he helped ensure responsible energy development while prioritizing worker safety and environmental stewardship. He also spent six years as a Commercial Lender with First International Bank & Trust, working directly with local businesses and families and gaining a strong understanding of financial responsibility and economic growth. Today, Brent continues to stay connected to the local workforce as a part-time bulk fuel hauler for Farmers Union Oil in Watford City.
